Welcome From the Co-Chairs
Organising Committee
Welcome to the official page of the RAS Satellite 2012 meeting. The RAS is a master regulator of cardiovascular health and major contributor to cardiovascular disease. RAS inhibitors are the mainstay of current cardiovascular therapies.
Despite its long history, the RAS remains an active and productive area of research, revealing new insights into its role in cardiovascular health and disease, and new therapeutic approaches to combat cardiovascular disease.
This international conference will be attended by leading RAS researchers focusing on new developments and the prospects for new therapies that modulate the RAS to improve cardiovascular health.
We invite all cardiovascular physicians, researchers, and students to attend this conference that will provide a window onto tomorrow’s cardiovascular therapies. In addition to invited international and Australian experts in RAS research, speakers will be selected from submitted abstracts, and there will also be poster presentations.
We warmly invite you to come to Australia in September 2012 to hear about the latest developments in the Renin Angiotensin System (RAS) and enjoy what the spectacular region of the Hunter Valley has to offer.
